Visualization: NEH Digital Humanities Grants since 2001

Currently, I'm taking the Information Visualization MOOC offered by Indiana University.  As part of my work for the course, I decided to visualize NEH Digital Humanities Grants since 2001.  The visualization captures data from any grants that noted "digital humanities" in the abstract.  The map below displays grants by zip code.  The diameter of the circle designates the size of the total of all awards by zip code.
