NEH Funding for Research on Gender Studies

I made this map a few months ago using data from the NEH (via the Indiana University Cyberstructure for Network Science Center), the  Sci2 tool, and Google's fusion tables.  It maps both the location and size of NEH grants for gender studies.  Note that I pulled the relevant information by searching through each grant's metadata -- using the keyword "gender*" to identify grants.  There are, of course, other keywords that could be included for any comprehensive analysis.
