Field Scan of Exhibitions on the Anthropocene

As part of my work in leading the development of the Museum of the Anthropocene I have done a field scan of exhibitions that attempt to make interventions in our understanding of this concept.

Below, you will find the results of my initial scan. This includes only those exhibitions or installations that explicitly attempt to develop or to criticize the concept. Consequently, this list does not include numerous exhibitions and installations that intersect with the key themes of scholarship on the Anthropocene—especially those that have emerged from environmental art practices over the last several decades.

I am certain that I have missed exhibitions and installations and am seeking suggestions for additions to this list.
