This 90-minute event will begin with faculty panelists sharing their strategies for keeping students engaged with each other and their classmates. We will then break out into groups, depending on the topic we're most interested in discussing. After group discussion, we will return to report briefly any new ideas, tools or strategies we learned.

The COVID-19 Oral History Workshop introduces researchers to the key frameworks and research methods of the COVID-19 Oral History Project.

This presentation will be a hands-on workshop to examine both the ways that the Anthropocene presents new challenges for education and to discuss the tools and techniques for responding to this challenge. This presentation will focus on the importance of open knowledge, open access, “commoning,” and public scholarship in developing new modes of formal and informal education for the Anthropocene.
